Where your piece comes from

Each piece is dispatched directly from the atelier that made it — in Bosnia & Herzegovina, Nepal, Italy or Thailand, depending on the piece. The origin is noted on every product page. Everything is made to order. 

Delivery cost

Delivery is calculated at checkout based on your destination and the size of the piece, and is confirmed before you pay. If your order contains pieces from more than one atelier, you will see a separate delivery charge for each, as they travel separately from different countries.

Timing

As each piece is made to order, please allow for the production lead time stated on the product page before dispatch. You will receive tracking as soon as your order has shipped.

Import duties and taxes

Where a piece crosses a customs border, import duties, taxes and customs charges are payable by the recipient on arrival. They are not included in your order total and are collected by the carrier at the point of delivery.

Because every piece ships from the atelier that made it, this applies to most destinations — including the United Kingdom.

It does not apply if your delivery address is in the same country as the atelier, or within the European Union for pieces made in Italy. In those cases nothing crosses a border and no import charges arise. Each product page states where that piece is made.

Rugs and estate pieces

Delivery for rugs and one-off estate pieces is arranged individually. Please contact us at studio@scottsshop.co and we will quote for your destination.
