The salon was not only a room for leisure. Behind it sat the working rooms. The study, the cabinet, the library. Where a collection was catalogued, a drawing laid out, a problem worked through. These rooms were often organised practically, rather than merely decorated.
The Leonardo belongs to that side of the house. A deep, rich navy field carries a regular grid of brown squares, accented with a small silvery-green square at every intersection.
Hand-knotted at 100 knots per square inch in New Zealand wool and bamboo silk by Goodweave-certified artisans in Nepal, over several months on the loom.
At 180 x 240cm. Custom sizes on request.
Limited to an edition of 5. Each piece is made to order.
